Craft Kit: Mini Bookshelf

Description

Create your own miniature 1:12 scale wood bookshelf! Made in the style of 80’s era crate-style furniture, this kit comes with hand cut, finished and partially assembled wood pieces ready for you to put together. Easy enough for a beginner, but with the high quality design appreciated by any serious miniature enthusiast. The finished shelf is 5.5″H x 3.3″W x 1″D.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Craft glue. You can use a toothpick for precise application, or use a glue with a precision tip, like Bearly Precision Art Glue
• Though you should be able to fit this together rather easily, I do recommend some sort of right angle clamp, jig or other way to align the shelf to ensure a perfect fit! Personally, I use a magnetic jig
• Cotton swabs and toothpicks or orange sticks for cleanup.
• a damp cloth to keep your fingers free of glue residue
• Optional: fine grit sandpaper for touch ups

The components of this kit are completely handmade. The look of crate-style furniture means that each plank of wood has slight differences in tone. This is intentional, and your finished piece will be unique!
